The School of Leadership Studies (SoLS) would like to acknowledge Barb Stoddard for her exemplary service to the Master of Arts in Leadership program. A graduate of this program, Barb began teaching with SoLS in 2003. In addition to this role as instructor, Barb serves as team lead for first residency term courses where she mentors new faculty and leads high-functioning faculty teams. In 2012, she became Program Head of the MA-Leadership Health specialization. In this capacity, she has worked collaboratively with the School to support continual quality improvement of the curriculum.

Her career in Vancouver Coastal Health, coupled with her insightful stewardship of the MA-Leadership Health specialization, demonstrates tremendous commitment to Healthcare leadership in Canada and beyond.

Barb is a beloved colleague and a trusted leader. We in SoLS will miss her diligence as well as her sense of humour. We know she will continue to have a profound impact on those with whom she comes into contact. Lead on Barb!

Note: As of Nov. 1, 2016, all questions related to the MA-Leadership Health Specialization should be directed to Dr. Elizabeth Hartney. Barb will continue to teach in the program and serve as team lead.
