Navigating Uncertainty webinar series

Navigating Uncertainty webinar series

As the pandemic shook the world, we saw volatility, disruption, and uncertainty increase at an incredible rate. In this new normal, attributes such as resourcefulness, flexibility, experimentation, and a bias for action became more important than ever before. It was within this context that the Navigating Uncertainty webinar series came to life.

Led by Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) program head Ross Porter, who is joined by various members of the BCom community, the three-episode webinar series explored what it takes to navigate uncertainty and assume a more entrepreneurial approach to work and life.

In the first webinar, Ross was joined by Associate Faculty Rita Egizii, and they explored the value of entrepreneurialism and busted a few myths along the way. Building on this, during the second webinar, Ross and guest Assoc. Fac. member Tabea Berg discussed some of the core principles and practices of design thinking. In the final webinar, Ross and Assoc. Fac. Michael Pardy looked at the changing landscape of work.

As we come to the end of this successful series, we reflect on the insightful discussions on the School of Business blog. In case you missed it, you can also watch the webinar recordings.
