The Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies (CTET) is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new workshop offering, Grading in Moodle, designed to support instructors and program staff to develop proficiency in grading in Moodle. We are offering this hands-on on-campus workshop to all Royal Roads University (RRU) faculty, associate faculty, and staff on Thursday, May 31, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. To learn more about the Grading in Moodle workshop and to read the full description of the workshop, please see the Crossroads calendar event. If you are ready to register, please email CTET Faculty Development.

Grading in Moodle will initially be offered as a one-off pilot, after which time we will evaluate its success and any ongoing demand. Based on this evaluation, we will consider putting on further offerings as well as an online version for off-campus instructors.

Grading in Moodle was developed as part of an ongoing response to staff and faculty requests for support with grading via our CTET Studio. Grading questions are by far the most common type of question that we receive, and our hope is to enable and empower faculty and staff with a greater level of confidence and proficiency with grading in Moodle.

If you have questions or would like to learn more Moodle grading, or any other learning technologies, please don’t hesitate to contact CTET Studio. For specific questions about the upcoming Grading in Moodle workshop and to register, please contact CTET Faculty Development.
