New director for P&CS
I am thrilled to announce that after an extensive search, Zoe Macleod has accepted the position of Director of Professional and Continuing Studies (P&CS). In this role, Zoe will be responsible for overseeing the university’s domestic and international contract training as well as professional and continuing studies programming. While reporting to the VP Global, Marketing and Business Development, Zoe will also continue working collaboratively with the Dean of the Faculty of Management, who is responsible for the academic integrity of the business-related graduate certificates formerly offered through the Centre for Coaching and Workplace Innovation (CCWI).
The vision for Professional and Continuing Studies is that it will become a unified and single entry point for the community to access those areas of programming. Aligned with the university’s strategic goals and priorities, the department will continue to create accessible and professional content that can act as stepping stones to other formal degrees and programs at the institution. P&CS will also place the university in a stronger position to be able to satisfy corporate client educational needs.
With many years of demonstrated leadership experience at Royal Roads, most recently as Director for CCWI, Zoe shares the values and philosophy of the institution, is extremely competent and has the skills to mobilize people and resources in order to deliver on our vision. I wish her well in this exciting role.
