New director in SES

2018 was a year of exciting change for the School of Environment & Sustainability (SES)—and 2019 is kicking off much in the same manner. As some may already be aware, Chris Ling is leaving his role as director as of March this year and will be going on research leave for six months.

In his place, Ann Dale, who has been an integral faculty member of Royal Roads University and the School of Environment & Sustainability since 2000, will be taking on the role of director for the next two years. Ann’s hometown is Ottawa, but she will be making frequent trips to our wonderful campus throughout the year as she leads the school with her passionate vision.

The team at SES would like to thank Chris for all he has done during his five years as director and welcome Ann to the role! Her experience, leadership, and inspiring work ethic will make her a wonderful director, and we are very excited to see what lays ahead for our leading-edge school and its programs, as well as the newly emerging opportunities for our students and alumni.
