The Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies (CTET) has a new Open Education Resource (OER) available to support faculty and associate faculty in their teaching!

Developed by members of our Learning Design team, FLO Synchronous is a self-study resource with helpful information about facilitating synchronous learning online, such as web-conferencing and virtual face-to-face learning. Instructors using Collaborate Ultra or BlueJeans in their teaching will find the resource and its activities to be a valuable guide for facilitating active and engaged learning in a synchronous environment.

The resource is available on our OER instance of Moodle, which means that it can be freely accessed by anyone with an internet connection. This reflects CTET’s commitment to fostering and promoting open learning.

If you have questions about facilitating learning, both online or on-campus, feel free to connect with your CTET instructional designer.
