New in Showcase: ResiliencebyDesign
The Library is pleased to host the ResiliencebyDesign (RbD) Lab's research exhibit in Showcase, the Library’s space for promoting Royal Roads' innovative, applicable and real-world research. The exhibit is on display now until June 8, 2018.
Headed by Prof. Robin Cox, director of the ResiliencebyDesign Lab and core faculty member in the Disaster and Emergency Management program, the RbD team is engaged in arts-based, participatory research with youth and communities in crisis from Alberta to Nunavut. The lab’s research areas focus on climate change, youth resilience and transformative learning. The Showcase exhibit features an interactive display, artwork and a gallery walk-through of several RbD research projects. In addition, digital storytelling projects from RbD research participants are available for viewing in the Showcase screening room.
Be sure to also drop by the ResiliencebyDesign Lab’s Open House event on Tuesday, April 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!
If you have research you would like to promote through Showcase, please contact Devina Dandar, Scholarly Communications Librarian, to discuss what Showcase can do for you and your work.
