Outstanding teaching: Leadership team

The Kelly Outstanding Teaching Awards recognize core and associate faculty members who are representative of outstanding teaching at Royal Roads. Leading up to the 2016 awards announcement in the fall, we will highlight nominees via a special profile on their teaching philosophy.

Beth Page, Guy Nasmyth, and Mark Fulton – School of Leadership Studies teaching team

“We believe learning is an ongoing process of exploring one’s mental models. We remain keenly aware that those who are looking to us to inspire learning are individuals and construct their own meaning.  As their mental models are challenged or confirmed, it is important for us to be present and mindful in order to help each learner capture these learning moments.”

The Kelly Outstanding Teaching Awards are open to all Royal Roads University faculty members who are actively engaged in teaching for-credit or non-credit courses at RRU.  A call for nominations is sent out each spring to faculty, staff, and students.
