RRU Proud and the Diversity Action Group invite you and your friends and family to our annual Pride events on campus and downtown Victoria.

The history of Pride dates back to Stonewall riots of 1969. According to Human Rights Campaign, the riots, which spanned over three days, were some of the most prominent instances in which LGBTTQQ people resisted police discrimination. It was a watershed moment in LGBTTQQ history and is often accredited as the start of the modern gay liberation movement, which later expanded into the larger LGBTTQQ rights movement.

We look forward to seeing you at our Pride 2019 events!
