A delegation of prospective students and staff from the Government of Nunavut's Department of Health visited the College of Interdisciplinary Studies the week of June 17. The delegation participated in a five-day introductory workshop, jointly developed by the College of Interdisciplinary Studies and the Government of Nunavut's Department of Health Educational Upgrade Program (EUP). The students are interested in starting the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (BAIS) program in September 2019. Highlights of the activities that the Nunavut delegates participated in included the Indigenous Students Graduation Ceremony, the Royal Roads University's convocation ceremony, and the canoe protocol and canoe race on National Indigenous Peoples Day. Special thanks to all staff, faculty and university units that helped us host this visit.
