Masters of Tourism Management student Marg Leehane has found the perfect balance between work, learning and life. She shared these photos with us to illustrate how she weaves studying into her work day. Marg is co-owner of Great Bear Lodge on B.C.'s central coast. People from around the world visit her to view grizzly bears in their natural habitat.

"I was so engrossed in studying that it was difficult to leave it behind in the office, even while surrounded by grizzly bears! The other guides would keep an eye out for bears while I would read about social science research, then I would put down the textbook when some bears came along for us to photograph," she says. "My research is on the resilience of the bear viewing industry in BC. The strength of the Royal Roads program is that it is very applicable to my business and the wider tourism industry, so it felt perfectly natural for me to be combining my studies with my daily routine at work."
