On May 13, Dr. Wendy Rowe (core faculty, School of Leadership, Royal Roads University)  in collaboration with Dr. Eduardo Rivas (faculty, Nova Southeastern University and associate faculty, Royal Roads University) received a prestigious research grant through the President’s office of Nova Southeastern University to carry out research in the Dominican Republic.

This research will focus on global leadership competencies and skills that are consistently demonstrated in forming effective partnerships across not-for-profit and government organizations. In particular, the study will investigate strategic partnerships and boundary spanning processes critical to achieving improvements in living, health, and educational conditions for the people of the Dominican Republic.

The grant partnership between Nova Southeastern University and Royal Roads University will serve to harness the expertise of both participating professors and provide for an effective partnership that in turn will produce a worthwhile study in the field of global leadership.
