ResiliencebyDesign Lab Open House
You are warmly invited to the ResiliencebyDesign Lab’s Open House event at the Royal Roads University Library on April 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with opening remarks at 12:15 p.m. We will be showcasing the Lab’s work in areas of climate change, youth resilience and transformative learning through active displays, including a gallery walk through. The Lab's work includes projects working with youth in crisis in communities from Wood Buffalo, Alberta to Secunda, South Africa.
The RbD Lab follows three guiding visions;
- Where researchers, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, students and youth explore community resilience, disaster risk reduction, social innovation and creativity;
- Where we contribute to a culture of resilience through youth-adult partnerships that cultivate collaboration, innovation and creative process;
- Where we conduct research that features visual storytelling as a method of moving hearts and minds to generate conversations that matter.
Faculty, staff, students and the public are welcome. There will be snacks provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
If you cannot attend the Open House event, you can visit the exhibition at any time the library is open from April 16 to May 31.
