The ResiliencebyDesign Research Lab ran a successful and informative exhibit at the Royal Roads University Library from April to June of 2018. The exhibit kicked off with an open house event on April 17. The event welcomed the Royal Roads community, Lab members and the public to enjoy discussion, creative arts-based activities and live music from Willie and Genoveve Whiston of Fort McMurray, who worked with the Lab on their Youth Voices Rising project in the Wood Buffalo region.

As Dr. Robin Cox, director of the RbD Lab discussed, “It was such a joy to celebrate the amazing RbD team and share our work with the RRU community and our other colleagues and friends. I think the exhibit was a powerful testimony to the creative and inspiring possibilities that come from partnering with youth in creative action research.”

The exhibit showcased the overall vision of the RbD Lab, detailed descriptions of the Lab’s projects and their graduate student’s work. Now the RbD Lab has shared media from the interactive exhibit on their website. Take a tour of the ResiliencebyDesign Lab to learn more and view the gallery.
