Royal Roads EV community of practice
Members of the Royal Roads University community who use battery-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles (EVs) are invited to join an EV community of practice!
Starting in October, we will meet regularly to share ideas and make plans to support the promotion of and advocacy for EVs on campus. The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 23 at 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Learning and Innovation Centre (LIC) third floor lounge. All EV users are welcome to attend. BYO lunch and ideas/concerns about EVs on campus.
Lead by Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies (CTET) team members Eric Bigrigg, Lauren Halcomb-Smith and Ken Jeffery, the EV community of practice will focus on EV awareness, advocacy and cooperation among EV users. Further, we seek to promote the use of EVs as a means of reducing our environmental impact as a community, and to identify and address challenges facing EV users on campus as the province moves towards its 2040 zero emission mandate.
Questions about the EV community of practice can be directed to Ken Jeffery in CTET.
