Royal Roads library presents Showcase

The Library is pleased to officially announce Showcase, our space for promoting Royal Roads' innovative, applicable, and real-world research. You may have already visited this space during the Witness Blanket and Button Blanket project exhibits.

We invite you to view the photo collection of Dr. Phillip Vannini’s “Life Off Grid” project, which offers a unique window into the lives of Canadians living off renewable energy. His “Life Off Grid” film, as well his latest documentary, “Low and Slow,” spotlighting the lives of BC floatplane pilots, are both available for viewing in the Showcase screening room.

Remember, too, the Library’s virtual Showcase of Royal Roads Research: VIURRSpace. Royal Roads library has collaborated with Vancouver Island University (VIU) library to enhance not only the functionality of our institutional research repository but also use our institutional synergies around applied research and shared geography to mutual benefit.

If you have research you’d like to promote either through display or via VIURRSpace, please contact Devina Dandar, scholarly communications librarian, to discuss what Showcase can do for you and your work.

We look forward to hearing from you!
