Wanda Krause

The School of Leadership Studies is excited to welcome Dr. Wanda Krause. Wanda was formerly an assistant professor at Qatar Foundation and Qatar University in Doha, Qatar, and senior teaching fellow at the School for Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in the U.K. From 2008 - 2009, she held a research fellowship at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Wanda has lived and worked in six countries and has 15-years of  experience as a scholar-practitioner leading action research focused projects. Her work has measured the impact of women leading political change on civil society. Her main research areas of focus include: civil society, women’s leadership and organizational development. In the School of Leadership Studies, she will primarily support the MA in Global Leadership Program.

Of particular interest, Wanda led two teams that founded an MA program at Qatar University in 2011 and a research centre at Qatar Foundation in 2010. In addition, she has several years of experience working on strategic planning and evaluation of governmental and non-governmental programs in Canada. This work has improved conditions for Indigenous communities in Canada’s north. Her coaching and mentorship has empowered hundreds of activists and clients for organizational, leadership and online business development. Drawing on her global and local encounters with diverse communities, she is highly sensitive, and appreciative of the benefits of inter-cultural exchange and collaboration. In her spare time, she and her kids love to hike and ski.

Please help us to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Wanda Krause.
