Troy Townsend

The School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) is sad to announce that Troy Townsend has decided to leave her position as a program associate for the Bachelor of Arts in International Hotel Management to return to Ontario to be closer to her family. Troy originally joined Royal Roads in May 2017 from London, Ontario on a temporary basis. We quickly learned that we did not want to lose her and she secured a permanent position later that year. From the moment she arrived, her experience working with students was evident. She engaged her students, gaining their trust quickly.

Troy was an amazing team member in our school. She always had a positive attitude and her love for life was evident. Whether you heard her singing her favourite Sound of Music tune, found her dressed up as Storm to support the Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management students at Capital City Comic Con or simply heard her great laugh echo through the halls, you could always tell that Troy was nearby and trust that she was willing to support anyone who needed help.

We will miss you Troy and we wish you all the best in your future!
