Student wins Korean scholarship

The Office of International Collaboration and Development is pleased to announce that BA in Global Tourism Management student Didier Sin is a successful recipient of the Korean Government Scholarship Program. Congratulations, Didier!

This award will support Didier financially while she is going on her exchange semester to our partner institution, Kyung Hee University in Seoul, Korea.

Lack of financial means is the greatest barrier for students who wish to study abroad, and Didier’s award is a great example that this hurdle can be overcome. We currently have fifteen active exchange partners around the globe and are expecting twelve international exchange students to join our on-campus cohorts in the fall semester. Also, three of our students are taking the leap in September to embark on their transformative study abroad experience in Japan and Korea while earning credits towards their Royal Roads University degrees.

If you would like to find out more about education opportunities abroad for Royal Roads students, contact Ruth Wax in the Office of International Collaboration and Development in Grant 130.

We wish everyone safe travels and look forward to hearing their stories!
