That's a wrap! Leading in Extraordinary Times
The Leading in Extraordinary Times webinar series has come to a close and was nothing short of extraordinary! On behalf of the School of Leadership Studies, thank you to everyone who contributed, presented, supported, attended and collaborated with us for the virtual Leadership Conference and the webinar series.
As many of you know, we had to cancel our face-to-face 2020 Leadership Conference in light of the pandemic. Yet the topic of “Leading in Extraordinary Times” has never been more relevant. We decided to host our conference virtually, which entailed a keynote address followed by five webinars. The series was open to everyone to attend free of charge and drew over 2200 registrants in total with an average attendance of 185 participants tuning in live to each session.
Together, we wanted to promote leadership that could uplift community, collaboration, kindness, generosity and optimism through these changing times. It is in this spirit that we share the webinar recordings, graphics, and resources from this series:
- Creating Joy & Community while Leading through Difficult Times
- Climate Action Leadership: Lessons from COVID-19
- Essential Mindfulness Practices for Leaders
- Building Resilience & Leadership Capacity: Finding the Gifts in Struggle
- Online Community Organizing and Coalition Leadership in a Pandemic
The School of Leadership Studies has a mission to “foster the imagination, capacity, and courage to lead in extraordinary times.” May these resources inspire you to do just that.
