The Pan-Canadian Conference on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) comes to Victoria for its third installment, after a first event in Montreal in 2015 and a follow-up in Charlottetown in 2017. The conference brings together, as it did on the two previous occasions, practitioners and researchers from wide variety of fields: educators from K-12 and higher education, librarians, instructional designers and student services personnel. The event Connecting the Dots – Sharing Promising Practices across Country wishes to create a brainstoriming and networking opportunity for UDL advocates from across Canada to share promising initiatives and to strengthen the Canadian voice around UDL. The event will be held on campus from October 2 to 4. The Call for Submissions has now opened and registration will begin shortly.
