United Way campaign surpasses $55,000 goal

Congratulations are in order to the entire Royal Roads community, as our annual United Way campaign has succeeded in meeting and exceeding its $55,000 fundraising goal.

Even with a more ambitious goal than last year, the campaign has surpassed its target by about $600. Contributions are still filtering in, and those who have not yet contributed can make a pledge at the pledge website.

“I want to thank all staff, faculty, administration and students for their generous contributions to this year’s United Way campaign,” says President Allan Cahoon. “It is important, especially at this time of year, that we recognize and support those members in need in our community. The Royal Roads community deserves to be proud of their support and commitment to this year’s successful campaign. Through our contributions, we can truly make a difference!”

Special thanks to the United Way committee on campus for its leadership and hard work, which made this success possible.
