Upcoming intercultural learning opportunity

The Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies (CTET) invites core faculty and associate faculty who are interested in enhancing their intercultural teaching practice to participate in the free upcoming online course Intercultural Foundations for Education (IFE) from November 2 to 29, 2020. Register for IFE via the RRU Professional and Continuing Studies website. Please contact CTET Faculty Development for a discount code to waive the posted fees.

IFE is a four-week online course focused on developing intercultural teaching and learning competencies. You will have opportunities to review the intercultural learning research and apply key concepts to your teaching/facilitation practice. You will also have access to interdisciplinary collegial dialogue, instructional resources, and learning activities on culturally responsive teaching methods that can enhance your current practice. This course is designed for equity, diversity, and inclusion practitioners in academic, school, workplace, and community education contexts who are interested in developing knowledge and skills in facilitating intercultural learning.
