Updates from Student Services
Hello and Happy New Year! We want to share some updates from Student Services.
Aleksandra Kovic-Bodiroza has joined us as the new Student Services associate. Her role will be divided between Accessibility Services and general support for the Student Services unit. Aleksandra may be a familiar face to some, as she comes to us from the Collwood Medical Clinic. Prior to that, Aleksandra worked in primary education in Alberta and in her home country of Bosnia. Aleksandra is located in the Library, room 101.
Dranna Andrews-Brown was the successful candidate for the role of manager, Student Engagement. This is a one-year term position that provides oversight of an integrated approach to student support, merging international student advising with ongoing service delivery for domestic students. Student engagement includes new student orientation, international student advising, student communication/information and resource referral, student activities, student conduct, and student emergency response. Viral Mangukia is continuing to work in the role of international student liaison for the next two months, and is working closely with Dranna in her new role.
We have moved again!
