This week on the Changing Lives Story Project, IT Services Support Analyst Douglas Brown shares his story of love reunited and a wedding at Hatley Park.

Here is an excerpt:

Every day, we make decisions that will change the direction of our lives. Very rarely can we scream, do over! in real life. Very rarely do we get a second chance.

In February 2006, on opposite sides of Canada, two people were living with the aftermath of failed marriages. She had a dream that I walked up to her and I said "I am no longer married. I love you". She always loved me.

Across the country, I would see a girl on the bus every day that reminded me of her and I would wonder why I made decisions that I made. I still loved her.
