Welcome Dan Bradshaw to Human Resources
Human Resources is pleased to welcome Dan Bradshaw.
Dan joined HR Nov. 26, 2018, on an interim contract to cover for the vacancy in the associate director HR–employee and labour relations role. Dan will work closely with our existing associate directors, Lisa Robinson and Candace Perkins, to provide generalist HR leadership. He will work with HR consultants to support their day-to-day work in employee and labour relations.
Dan’s areas of focus will be employee and labour relations, performance improvement, union-management relations, occupational health and safety, human rights and sexual violence protocols. Dan will also assist the university with our upcoming collective bargaining toward the renewal of our CUPE and RRUFA collective agreements.
Dan comes to us from Dan Bradshaw and Associates where he provided consulting services in labour relations, collective bargaining, workplace investigations and strategic HR initiatives. Prior to starting his own consulting practice, Dan was with Queen’s University where he was AVP Faculty Relations and most recently AVP Human Resources. Dan’s prior experience includes progressively senior roles with the University of Manitoba and the College of New Caledonia.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from University of Manitoba and a Master of Industrial Relations from University of Toronto.
In his spare time Dan loves to read, cook, spend time with his family and cheer on his favourite team, the Winnipeg Jets.
We are excited that Dan has joined our team and we encourage you to come by the second floor of the Nixon Building and join us in extending a warm RRU welcome to him!
