You can rent a bike at Royal Roads!

Feel like a enjoying the beautiful fall weather on a bicycle?

The Office of Sustainability is proud to announce that Royal Roads has a new bike rental program available to students, staff, and faculty! There are five brand new bicycles ready-for-hire at the Recreation Centre.

You can reserve a bike today by email at RRU-Rec-Centre@RoyalRoads.ca, by telephone at 250-391-2700, or in person at the Recreation Centre.

Prices are $10.00 for full day; or $35.00 for 7 days. (What a bargain!)

Rental bikes include a helmet, bike lock and tool kit.

This program has been made possible through the generous contributions by,

• Patti Walsh and the Recreation Centre staff for taking care of the important logistics necessary in putting the bike rental program into ACTION!
• Masters of Environment and Management students for their on-going support to the Sustainability Action for the Environment (SAFE) fund
• Dr. Charles Krusekopf for his leadership of this bike rental program
• RRUSA for the bike fix-it station (which will be installed on campus in another few weeks)
